We had a lovely call together where she explained her style and how she structured her sessions all depending on my daughters needs. She spent ages getting to know my daughter and how she would feel comfortable and what she enjoyed etc. I couldn’t have found a nicer caring person to introduce us to a tutor support.We are a few weeks in and my daughter absolutely loves Annabel and loves her sessions. She does not see it as learning she see’s it as fun and games. And that’s all I can ask for. The number of times she tells me she’s learnt something new and is so excited to tell us. She comes off every time saying that was so much fun! And loves her time with her.Honestly can’t recommend Annabel enough! She is the best! Thank you so much you have no idea how pleased I am 🙂

Having that 1:1 time to focus, say if she doesn't quite understand, and then make sure she has got it before moving on, has been so invaluable; she is now much more confident. My Year 5 child has been attending tutoring now for three months. The tutor is amazing at ensuring that any activities also relate to his broader interests e.g science, Star Wars, Harry Potter etc.Our main reason for the tutoring was to improve his confidence and self esteem when it comes to school work, to encourage him to stop comparing himself to others and to ensure that he gets used to asking for help when needed.We are so pleased with how well it is supporting him and improving his self esteem when it comes to learning. He has mentioned himself that it is really helping his confidence and he is happier to ask for help at school now. He also talks to me about his school work a lot more now and demonstrates things he has done at school that day.He has his grade 1 piano exam next week and a week of progress tests at school too which would usually have had him in a panic and dreading any test like situation but we have had zero worries or issues about it so far.The impact of tutoring has been so much broader than helping him with creative writing, sentence structure and vocabulary (though this has been fantastic too) and I have a much happier more confident child.
