★ All regular** students have access to our recently-updated, specialist programmes for dyslexia (Diamond Spelling & Reading) or dyscalculia (Delta Maths & Mindfulness). Specialist support is also available for those with ADHD; and confidence building/mindfulness is incorporated into every session.

*Remote control functionality is dependent on the system you are using and does not work on all devices. This feature may also not be suitable for some younger student.

Students will learn:
✔︎ How to use effective sentence openers and lengthen sentences
✔︎ How to use new writing techniques such a simile & alliteration 
✔︎ How to structure different types of texts 

📗 Phonics & Reading: Fun games and challenges focusing on developing key phonic understanding. 

Students will learn:
✔︎ The important phonic sounds taught in school

Maths

💎 Diamond Spelling & Reading: Our own structured dyslexia-friendly spelling and reading programme drawing on latest research and using proven learning techniques.

Students will learn:
✔︎ Letter reversals and tools to help improve recognition of commonly-confused letters
✔︎ The differences between vowels & consonants, and the open & closed sounds of vowels
✔︎ How to break words down into syllables, and how different syllables build different sounds

Maths

🪐 Delta Maths & Mindfulness: Our own structured dyscalculia-friendly maths programme drawing on latest research and using proven learning techniques. For all students, this programme includes dedicated lesson time working on mindfulness techniques to aid general learning.

✔︎ How numbers work, and how to represent numbers in many different ways
✔︎ The links - and differences - between the main mathematical functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
✔︎ How to break problems down into chunks in order to solve them more effectively

Mentoring

🦜 Mindful Macaws: Our own mentoring programme using mindfulness and confidence-building to help students develop a strong growth mindset. This programme can be taught as a standalone programme, or incorporated into English and/or maths lessons.

✔︎ The main features of a growth mindset and how to develop this way of thinking
✔︎ How to gain confidence when tackling new problems
✔︎ How to use mistakes as opportunities for growth

How Does It Work?

1) Enquire through our webform.

​2) We will contact you and arrange an introductory phone call. 

3) If you wish to proceed further, we will arrange a short FREE Zoom video meeting with you and your child. In this meeting, we will play a quick game with your child, get to know them and ensure they are comfortable with our teaching style. 

4) After confirming our teaching style is suitable for your child*, we will finalise a weekly slot, or add you to our waiting list. ALL customers on our waiting list will have access to online lessons, but we cannot guarantee how often these will be. 

*If we do not feel our style is ideal for your child's needs, we will recommend a different tutor/tuition company who would be more suitable. Please note, we only offer tuition to those who we feel will benefit fully from our unique approach to learning.
