About Us

Annabel Louise
Full Time Tutor 
(5-16 Year Olds)

Annabel Louise founded Bedford Tutor on 31st October 2012 after gaining her History Degree from The Open University. From the start, Annabel's aim was 'to make learning fun' and this is still Bedford Tutor's core philosophy. 

Before setting up Bedford Tutor, Annabel worked as a children's entertainer, running a successful business she set up whilst in sixth form. When Bedford Tutor became full-time in 2015, Annabel closed her entertaining business to focus on tutoring. 

An imaginative and energetic individual, Annabel is a proud ADHDer and thrives on running a creative business. Over the last eleven years, she has completed a number of qualifications related to tutoring and has passed on this knowledge to Helena who enjoys helping Annabel devise new and innovative styles of teaching.

Helena Judith
Part Time Assistant

Helena Judith Walker has been tutoring at Bedford Tutor for over nine years and is passionate about helping children succeed. With a kind nature and patient approach, Helena is a friendly and approachable tutor with a true love of teaching.

When Helena was younger, she worked in nursery education, and was a primary school governor for many years. Additionally, she has also worked as a florist, and has experience in retail management. Helena was chair of Ravensden Parish Council during the early 2000s and is passionate about protecting the local area. Over the last nine years, she has combined her varied experiences with Annabel's knowledge to help create a unique style of tuition.
